Deportation

Deportation is bad for everybody. It is bad for immigrants because they're being separated from their families and it is bad for America because we're losing useful workers.

Dear Mr. or Ms. President,

It takes $1,250 to deport just one immigrant. Imagine how much it would take to deport Donald Trumps goal amount of 11 million immigrants.

Immigrant families all over the u.s. are being ripped apart by the hands of our government and a lot of the time its because of a small misdemeanor. Its extremely expensive to deport someone and it's stupid to deport someone that is working, not committing crimes and might even have a family. Not only does it cost to deport them but then we have to help support their family with welfare.

I think that instead of deporting someone as soon as they do something wrong I think we should give them a second chance and if it’s a misdemeanor they should do community service or pay a fine.

People may say that immigrants are a detriment to the economy and cause criminal activity. They believe deportation is a way to alleviate these issues. But in reality immigrants are good for the economy because they take jobs that the average american wouldn't even consider. We just need to deport the immigrants that are actually a threat to American citizens.

I found a story about a family getting separated because the father, named Gonzalez, wrote a bad check 15 years before he was deported. His family no longer had their father to help support and raise them.

"Donald Trump's Deportation Plan would be an Economic Nightmare" by Andy Kiersz the source is business insider."Feds Estimate Deportation Costs $12,500 Per Person" by staff cnsnews.com

The estimated cost of $12,500 for deporting an immigrant is too expensive of a price for the American Citizens to pay. Most of the Immigrants are honest, hard working members of our society. This is also why Donald Trump's Deportation plan would be an Economic Nightmare.  We would lose 11 Million people that are contributing  to our economic growth.

Immigrants are essential to America because they take jobs that are extremely important and require hard labor. Some examples of those jobs are grounds maintenance workers, Construction laborers, and Janitors.

A lot of the times when we send an immigrant back to their country they come back again. Its not very cost efficient or a good use of our time to deport someone and have them come back. I Think that we should just leave law abiding immigrants be and only deport those that are bad people that would commit crime.
