Why the Minimum Wage should be Increased

The minimum wage is not enough to live off of. It does not provide people with a life they deserve to live and doesn't even provide them with sufficient transportation, food, or other life necessities. A lot of people struggle to get by day to day, and an increase in the minimum wage would greatly boost people financially, which will help them live a better life. In the USA, there is a lot of poverty, especially for one of the richest countries in the world.
