Police violence is hitting too close to home
Dear Future President,
My name is Asia and my issue is police brutality. Police brutality is an country wide issue that every one has to face. This issue is concerning because we aren't suppose to be afraid of people who are suppose to be protecting us. It's sad that when my uncles or my cousins go I think about what could happen to them in the hands of police. Within the past 1-3 years there has many been so many unarmed people killed in the hands of police. To add onto that in so many of the cases none of the officers have been convicted, they just walk away. Our system is so curruputed. We need our system to change. We need to not walk around in fear of the police.
