You Get Out of It, What You Put Into It by Anthony B.

As a student in a small town, nestled in the Midwest, life is relatively good. A good community, strong ethics and values, and a humbling sense that your education is top grade. "You get out of it, what you put into it," is the classic teacher to student speech regardless of where you are in the United States.

Your Real Journey Begins Now by Zach S.

Am I safe? That I don't know, anymore. When I was younger, I would go outside, and play with my friends after school, and not have to worry at all about the security of our nation, nor did I really care at the time. But now, being a first time voter in the new election year, the simple question that I always took for granted seems much more complex.

Can You Hear Me Now? by Katie E.

We have many things to discuss. Our economy is in a bad state at the moment, and we have many other problems to deal with. We have an enormous debt of 9 trillion dollars and it's growing every day at a rapid pace, due to the fact that we are over in the Middle East fighting. If we don't figure out how to fix our problems with our economy or any of the other many problems we have, our country will begin to decline in power, which will put us in danger of being taken over by a different country.

In Our World Today!! by Tevin Lamar

Most if not all of the various situation going on currently in the in the United States should be or have to be dealt with as soon as possible. One of the main situations that is at hand and costing us much money is the current war going on in Iraq we been there since 2002, I notice the drastic change in their government and the many improvements in their country but doing that we have put ourselves in a deeper hole. Also the other problem is the one that is taking place right at home and that is the health care issue that is taking its toll on most of the American families. Thirdly the cost of education has sky rocketed, its more money to further your education to a college level and then in the lower level schools. We can't even provide enough materials to support their educational needs.
