Many people in the United States have questioned the decision of going to war. Since 2001 thousands of people have died do to this continuing war that never seems to progress in any way at all. Many people like Senator Obama are against the war while war driving people like John McCain are all for it. The war has not only caused emotional strain on families and friends but also financial. Do to the lack of financial support to soldiers and families while at war, and when once returned. Families are loosing their homes that they worked so hard for. What should we do?

Senator Barack Obama who is now running for president of the untied states is against going to war, when president Obama plans on returning all of our troops from a war that is point less. While in office Obama is going to leave a few of our troops behind while returning others in order to keep an organize, stable, environment.

Senator McCain is strongly and firmly pro war. McCain recently said that he is not going to back down when in office, dealing with war. McCain plans to keep sending his support to the Iraqi government. In order to help keep the United States secure and safe. Unlike Senator Obama, McCain plans to keep permanent bases in Iraq.

I believe that America should slowly but surely back down out of this war that we shouldn’t have been in the first place. Senator Obama has the right idea listening to the people. While Senator McCain is ignoring the fact that America in general has voted to bring our troops home. Obama is showing great leadership and common sense in trying to reunite friends and families, and to stop the killing of anisette American people as well as Iranians.

America is a great country filled with hard working men and moment. The death toll in Iraq could all stop with the return of our troops. America wants this war to end. So why aren’t you our government taking action?
