Global warming: What's Happening To Our World?
Issues: Green House Affect, Polar Bears, Temperatures
Dear Mr. President,
Global Warming is a serious issue that must be looked at directly and immediately. The government needs laws to fight Global Warming. First, Antarctica's animal population is decreasing. Water levels in the oceans are increasing, causing more environmental disaster. The environment is changing because the temperature is being affected by the Greenhouse Effect.
Antarctica's animal population is moving, decreasing, and ending their hibernation's early. The polar bears are thinner and less healthier than those 20years ago. Many of fish are moving northward to find colder water,so that they can survive and produce offspring. This is happening because the rays of the sun get through the ozone layer melting the icecaps making the water heat up. The marmots end their hibernation three weeks earlier than usual because of the warm weather. These great sources came from "Live Science: How Global Warming is changing wild life kingdom.
The water in the ocean is increasing causing more environmental disasters. The water is rising, because the sun melts the ice in Antarctica's ocean making the water rise higher and higher. There are flash floods around buffalo,Texas. Global Warming is so bad that in the Western mountains, it is hailing winter and snow. The rain comes down harder, because the rain is held in the clouds for a while and builds up making it come down harder. These are happening because sun rays are breaking through the ozone layer breaking the ice in the arctic. Which makes more environmental disaster around the earth. My information was gathered from, Antarctica Breaking: Ice shelf the size of Connecticut at risk of collapsing.
