Dear, president

    The war in Iraq is costing America too much money because of all the weapons and vehicles being bought.  Also, the war has been going on for over five years, that's way too long and it's not worth it.  The president should know what the right choice is and if you don't know that the Iraq War is wrong,  then you should not be president.  The economy is low and the Russians may still be a huge threat to Americans at home because most of our troops are over in Iraq.  The United States might even go into civil war.  The war is affecting lives at home in a negative way.

    The war in Iraq is not worth fighting because we have enough oil in America.  According to a article on Wikipedia, we use at least twenty million gallons of oil every year.  We use oil everyday like it grows on trees.  It is not right that we are ignoring other issues, like Global Warming and the economic crisis because of this war in Iraq.  So please Mr. President, stop the war before it's too late.

    The war in Iraq is also destructive and wrong, I know because I had a personal experience when my friends grandfather died in a very dramatic war.  So, I know it's making innocent people depressed because they have loved ones at war getting killed.  This war is breaking up families and friends are also losing loved ones in the war, and when a good friend dies you feel sad.  In an article in  "Time For Kids," it said that in 2006 more than a total of three thousand U.S troop's died that year in Iraq.

    The war is very wasteful because it is costing America $323 billion dollars, according MSNBC news article.  All that money is used for weapons and vehicle's that are used for ruthless and violent confrontations that are not needed.  The way we are spending money is not good because we can use that money to withdraw the troops and help our economy. The homeless are in need of help and the economy is getting worse and worse.  Our country is in need of that money.

    Since you're going to be president, you have the right to stop the war in Iraq.  You should stop the war before it's too late.  Also, you can benefit from stopping the war, people would like you better and it would help with your cause of making America a better place.  Plus, we need you to defend us from other threats.
