Our Future On Your Shoulders.
Issues: College, Future, Gamez, Education, Poor, Money, College Prices
Dear Future President,
First of all congratulations on your new position!!!. You must know as well as I do that, your new position
comes with much responsibilities that can overpower some people that is why not everyone wants to be
president. I think one of your first issues that you have to solve is mine. I guess I will have to introduce myself
first to you, my initials are RG i study at Collins Hill High School I am also 16 years old. I know my words must
not sound as pleasing as an adult; since i told you my age now you might think i am not been serious or
my voice is not loud enough to be heard. But I face responsibilities too, and I face challenges. That's why I am
sending you this letter.
Gas prices are affecting my life, and not only mine but that of millions of people throughout United States
too. Imagine that you have a 16 year old son named Tom, and Tom just got his driving license. You
Mr.President, just bought him his car;Tom has no job and only gets a one time per week $40 dollars
allowance. He has to go to high school and maybe on a date with his girlfriend Janette, So he has to spend
that money on gas, while trying to save some for college. He already has a pretty big account in his bank but,

that money on gas, while trying to save some for college. He already has a pretty big account in his bank but,
when he sees college prices he notices he wasted more on gas than on saving for college. Not only that but he
sees that Colleges are really expensive.
sees that Colleges are really expensive.
Gasoline prices can affect teenagers futures. Gasoline prices are like a roller coaster they can be low and
calm, or high and scary. First they are somewhat cheap but than it becomes really expensive. Not only are we
low on gas supply but also we have to pay much for it. That makes us run out of money faster; i do not only
have to say we are in an economic depression.

What I think can solve our problems are a few different things we can try. First of all if we can exploit our
petroleum from the underground, we will have a greater supply; thus making it less expensive. We would not
have to expend billions of dollars on buying foreign petroleum, and the price will not change that much when
there is a hurricane.
We can also try to solve this problem by creating a new type of gasoline. There are many things we can
use, such as ; helium, water, salt water, grass, food that has been used, poop, cell phones (there are many cell
phones people trow away), lithium, solar energy, plastic waste, hydrogen, and many other sources. what I
am saying is that we should try to lower gasoline prices. Not only because its expensive but it can alter the
future.
