Your Voice Speaks Loud, Mr President!
Dear Mr. President,
First, I would like to say congratulations on your presidency. I believe that you are elected to change our society into a safe comfort zone. However, there are few issues out there in United States. The issues that I'm concerned about are the economy, education, and illegal immigrants. These issues are influencing everyday lives of people. I feel that these issues should be re-addressed as part of your job.
I believe that this country is a land of opportunity for newcomers. Most Illegal immigrants illegally crosses border to progress to their success. Now, there's a tremendous population of immigrants in America. They are mostly here to seek better jobs and education. I, as part of immigrant thinks that everyone of us has the right to become a citizen and have equal amount of rights. But some of illegal immigrants are getting deported back to their home country. This is really the wrong solution. Think about how immigrants had impact the U.S. lately. Are you willing to deport immigrants who have the hope of achieving the American Dream?
Education is another issue I like to tell you about. I personally believe education is the key aspect in our life. I'm a senior at International High School and looking forward to attending college. Some students can't understand what is being taught in class and are not learning what they are suppose to. I think every school should at least provide standard level of education. Students need educational program to enlarge their goals. In order to do so, education should be strict where ever we go. Parents and teachers has to take close attention to what's happening to their student.
On the other hand, the economy is going bad. The United States is in debt for nine trillion dollars. The number of debts are still unpredictable, because it keeps on rising. Also, there's bankruptcy all over the place. There are massive number of debtors out there. What can settle this is a new bankruptcy program for families to guaranteed them with good balance for living. Tax cuts should also be provided to restore the economy to a stablecondition. Tax relief will turn out to create relaxation to American families.
Your voice speaks loud in the United States, Mr.President. I hope you could lead this country into the right direction. In the future, I would like to see a few good changes on illegal immigration, education, and the economy. Thank you for spending time from your schedule to reading my letter so please take my ideas into consideration.
