Dear Senator McCain:

Whenever someone needs house repair or yard maintenance, they usually pay other people to do it for them. Most recently, those people are most likely to be illegal immigrants from Mexico. It may sound prejudiced, associating Mexican immigrants with menial labor, and many people don’t see a problem with the cheap labor associated with these immigrant workers. In reality, though, illegal immigration is hurting the United States in many ways, including economically and in the way of safety and in the security of our country.

The United States health insurance has increased because of illegal immigrants getting free health care and health care treatments. Taxes are also going up because of many things the illegal immigrants are doing. One of the many things is the illegal immigrants in our school system. Some of them cannot pay the school fees, such as book payments and lunch money. Also dealing with schools, there are a numerous amounts of gangs starting in our school systems dealing with these immigrants from Central America and Mexico. It is making our school society less safe and more violent.

The United States is currently losing millions of dollars because the illegal immigrants are taking their wages and sending it back to Mexico to their families. This money should stay in the United States and not be sent outside of the America so these illegal immigrants can give it to their family and send it back for other reasons.

Another area the illegal immigrants are hurting our economy is with narcotics trafficking and violence that originates from the south of the border. Marijuana, methamphetamine, and heroin come from Mexico, brought into the U.S. by a criminal element of illegal immigration. This is especially bad because narcotics trafficking are directly involved in firearms trafficking and violence, which includes kidnapping, robbery, and murdering. A large portion of the crime and violence in the United States comes from illegal immigrants from Central America and Mexico.

Illegal immigration can also be very dangerous for the immigrants because there are many people who take advantage of their situation by smuggling people into the country.
I do not have any problems with foreign people coming into the country legally, no matter where from, because you know more information about them and their criminal history. I just have a problem with the people who come in illegally because you don’t know where they came from and if they have a criminal background. I think this current issue should be discussed and dealt with as soon as possible and I believe that you will be the most productive, most sutiable president when it comes to these issues.
