As the next president of the united states, you face some important issues that need solving.  Health care, crime, and renewable resources are just a few of these many problems.  America chose you as the president because we think that your ideas and plans to fix many of these problems/issues are right and will help America  come out of this slump we have been in for some time.  I hope that as the president you feel that to make this happen, you cannot be a spectator, you must really get out there and make some changes.

    Health care in America has gone from bad to worse over the last few years.  More then 47 million people do not have health insurance in America.  This is obviously not tolerable.  One thing that is causing this is that many employers do not give health insurance to the employees anymore due to the economy and there just not being able to afford it.  I think that we need to make health care more affordable to all Americans, not just to those that either get it from an employer or those that make a higher income.  Universal health care would be an excellent way of doing this, but that would be in the long run.  America cant really change that quickly to universal health care right now but i believe that you should slowly introduce the idea of universal health care, Mr. President.  For the time being i think you should strengthen employer coverage so that employees can keep getting health insurance from there employer.  i also think you should make it so insurance companies cover all Americans, no matter what there health is or there job.  By doing this America will be a more affordable and healthy country.

    Another key problem America faces is renewable resources and oil.  America is much too dependent on foreign oil and just oil in general.  this is one of the main reasons Americas economy is suffering so much right  now.  One way we can solve this is buy investing more in renewable resources like wind and solar power.  They are clean and would help America in the long run by serving as our main source of power.  We would also not be so dependent on foreign countries like Iran for our oil.  Right now we are the main importers of oil in the world with 11.8 million barrels a day.  That is a lot of money that we are giving away and that we could be using to help America instead of making other countries wealthy.  By investing in clean, renewable resources, we are getting out of our dependency on oil and securing a cleaner and brighter future.

    Crime is also a huge problem in America.  crime is changing.  Instead of just bank robberies, criminals are now stealing peoples identity and many use the Internet to do there crimes.  Internet predators are a huge problem in America.  We need to step up on these criminals and make the Internet more safe for children, where they don't have to worry about Internet predators or scammers.  One thing I think should happen is that Internet predators, child molesters, and rapists should be able to receive a life sentence.  These type of people should not be able to roam the streets.  Identity theft is also a problem.  Pretexting, dumpster diving, skimming and phishing are some of the ways people can steal your identity.  We need to make it safer for people to keep there identity safe from these type of things.  If we don't, we will be living in a country where not only Internet predators, rapists and scammers are walking  the streets with everyone else but where people's identity is not safe and you don't know who might be using your name or credit card number.

    So in conclusion, America is facing some large problems that need to be solved.  And only you can do this Mr. President.  You are the one that can invest our money into renewable resources, make it easier to afford health care, and make America safer from criminals.  I hope that as president you will be the one that can take America back to the top and secure a bright future for years to come.  You have the power to change the world for the better and i really hope you do.
