The Economic Crisis
Issues: Economy
Dear Mr. President, I know that being the president of the united states of america is a hard, challenging’ and important job.i know as being the president you have many issues to make better. The main issue that im concerned about is our economy. How are you going to change the economy so that it can benefit us? We are in Trillions of dollars in debt and its getting worse. How are you going to solve that debt? We also need tax cuts. If we were given tax cuts then the government will spend less. There can also be some loss of programs due to the tax cuts. Hopefully we lose the unneccessary programs that arent much help. There are families making less than $250,000.00 that are taxed with the same rate as people making well over a couple Millions. There are families making less than $50,000.00 who cant afford being taxed at a rate of 10%. A good idea is to raise the taxes of people that are making Millions. The ones who make Millions and that have Billions can afford to take a tax rate of 45% or even more. The question I ask you now is will you lower the taxes of the poor and raise the taxes of the rich and very much wealthy? If you can do so then the economy may even be able to balanse itself out. What other ways do you plan on shaping up the economy? There is also a great concern on Health Care. If we create a new health care system it may give everyone good health care but can also cost the government. We currently are not “fit” enough to be spending a certain amount of money. Medicare is also an issue when it comes to health care. An estimate of 40 million americans depend on medicare and obviously their isnt enough money being out into medicare. Will their be a way to have good medicare and not go into a Universal Health Care Plan? Another thing that I know that brings down the economy are the outrageous gas prices. In what ways will you lower our gas prices? It seems like every 3 moths the gas prices rise. Most americans cant even fuel up their cars full because of the prices. The cars are filled up to barely full or barely even touching the three-quarter mark. Life is very hard for the poor americans who cant afford to put decent food on the table. We need a new Economy. NO!, better yet we need a new America. Sincerely Serge Jr. Previlon
