Letter to the Leader
Issues: Change, War, Education
My name is Aaron J and I attend Arlington Community High School. I would like to address some issues I have concerning my future. I would like to begin by congratulating you on your Democratic nomination. It really tells us something is changing.
The first issue I want to address is the price of fuel. The gas prices are too high for us working class people to afford. I am suggesting that you find away to decrease the prices of fuel.
Health care is also a pressing issue. How are we going to stay healthy when health care is not accessible to all? I would like for you to create a more affordable plan for the underclass people.
The war is also a pressing issue today. Soldiers are dying daily. These are our mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters. The government is sending them over to Iraq and they don’t come back. I would like for you to end the war and allow them to return home.
Lastly, I’d like to talk about the expense of obtaining secondary education. College students are paying too much money. Why should we have to pay for our education? Your education should be free for all, even the rich.. Educated citizens are a benefit to society. Please consider lowering this great expense.
I really believe in the issues I have addressed, Mr. Obama. Thank you for reading my letter.
