On April 2oth, 1999, a young girl named Rachel Scott was sitting outside of her high school eating lunch with her friends. Two young boys from her school walked up to her and brutally shot her dead. They didn’t stop with Rachel.
Usually when an accusation is made against you that you know that you didn't do, you deny it and try to explain right? Imagine being accused of something and before you can explain yourself you've been beaten or killed.
As the family member of the victim of a violent crime, I ask, what are you going to do to deter gun violence? I feel that it is the job of the president to put a end to this issue and to keep guns out of unlicensed owners.
Our society needs some changes to have a better tomorrow and a brighter future.

My letter to Senator Obama is about stopping the war in Iraq. I think too many lives are being taken and the war needs to come to a end. I think the U.S Soldiers need a break from all the violence and gunfire.
I feel that immigration, the war in Iraq, the economy, violence and the environment are some of the many issues that are very important and should be taken into consideration.
Our whole country is depending on someone to protect us and make this country a comfortable place to live in.
