Marijuana has been labeled as a dangerous drug for too long. It is time for America to realize the beneficial aspects of the substance and how it can help the country if legalized. Marijuana is not a threat, but a new outlook.

There are many proven medical benefits to marijuana, but it can be, and is often, abused. Though marijuana is currently an illegal drug, and has risks associated with its use, research shows that marijuana is an effective treatment for numerous illnesses, and should be legalized in the United States.

The federal government spends billions of dollars per year to fund an ineffective drug policy. Action should be taken to spend less money and make more progress using rehabilitation programs and an end to the "war on drugs."

You could easily forget, that marijuana is a plant and it naturally grows, by the way it is prohibited

I support the legalization of marijuana as well as more leniency toward other drugs and those using them. Unfortunately neither candidate fully supports my opinions on drugs.

The main focus of my essay is how the United States drug poilcy is flawed. My essay explores options to make the drug policy more effective and up to date.

The future president should do his or her best to try and reduce crime. Some ways he or she could do that is by legalizing marijuana, create more job oppurtunities, and only allowing people to have their guns in a guns locked up in a gun cabinet and only take them out to go hunting.

My paper is about marijuana and why the laws on it should be reformed. this is important for reasons such as helping the sick and bringing the crime rate down.

As time goes on, we the American people grow closer to the day where a new man will be taking the role as President of the United States of America and I as an American feel confident that you will do great things with the new responsibility. A topic that you may come across is the legalization of marijuana. This topic is very controversial because many people feel as if it is improper and unjust. However I have yet to see how it is that different than cigarettes in a sense that if one person is doing it in there own space it does not affect anyone else. Also, it is clinically proven to help people in a medical way. The government spends 167 billion dollars a year to prevent the use of it when they could be using that money to help find ways to let it be used in beneficial ways.

Reforming marijuana laws is something that I have not seen talked about in this election, and I think that it’s a topic that needs to be discussed. Marijuana is harmless, expecially when compaired to alcohol and tobacca, which are both legal.
