Have you ever wondered if you could get the help you need in case of a crisis? Well, if you have some sort of health coverage then probably not; but what about those Americans who have no coverage? They have to worry abouth their families and themselves constantly because they cannot afford to go to a doctors office or hospital if they become ill. So why not fix this? Make your tax dollars go to a good casue. Universal Healthcare would benefit everyone and yourself. It would make your doctor or nurse focus more on the patient then on the procedure price and it would save lives!
Our country is never going to be perfect but you can make it better then it's ever been in the past years by raising education funds, converting cars to run on CNG, and making sure every American recieves healthcare.
Future president, this letter is written with great worry about our country's future. There are many problems that need to be taken seriously and someone should take not only responsibility but actions to correct the problems.
America spends $700 billion dollars a year importing foreign oil. Our country imports nearly 58% of its crude oil and is at the mercy of organizations such as OPEC. We are involved in a war for independence, and alternative energy resources are imperative for this country to thrive once again.
Health Care and energy are two important issues that our nation is facing. The cost of health insurance is steadily rising while there are millions who cannot afford it, causing some to decide to go without. On the other hand, our economy is suffering from energy shortages and we should be looking for ways to prevent it or preserve them.
Health Care. Two words that put the thoughts of hospitals, doctors, nurses, emt's, trainers, dentists, etc. When I think of health care-I always think of going to the doctor's office when I'm sick, and the big bill my parents will receive because the insurance company doesn't "cover that kind of injury".
The United States is currently dependent on close to sixty percent of the Middle East's oil. As a country though we need to start thinking about becoming more independent on energy. We have enough resources in our own country for such things as bio-fuels, natural gas, solar, and other resources readily available to us now. These actions should be taken as soon as possible.
A new President, and new choices to be made. America is being faced with more and more problems everyday. We need to concentrate on the major issues such as the war in Iraq, Education, Energy, and Health Care.
