Barack Obama supports gay rights--yet he doesn't support gay marriage, which is crucial for drawing in supporters from the GLBT community.

Why is it that people go to such extreme extents to force their beliefs on others? Why is it that some people cannot accept the fact that others have different beliefs? The next president of the United States will have a lot of responsibility to successfully and carefully resolve important issues that are holding our country back from being the best it can be.
