Problems facing the American citizens these days hit closer to home as of late. With the process of getting an education, finding and obtaining a job, purchasing a house, making it a home, and maintaining our health throughout the process, has become a life-long stress all its own.

My piece is about how America needs to focus on our economy and the struggles already happening around the country with money. It also focuses on choices that our country gives, and the argument if these choices should be given. As a part of the younger generation, these are the issues that are important to me and this piece is to show that kids are worried about the same things that the older generations are.

Prices are rising quickly and things are becoming less affordable. What can we do to stop our nation from heading into a recession?

In the United States today gas prices are a critical issue. We depend on foreign countries for our oil, and with a great demand for gas they can raise the prices through the roof. As of today the gas price average is 2.62 United States. So how could we lower this?

Many issues are going to be faced by you. But the ones that seem to appeal to the public most are the oil prices and illegal aliens.

It is obvious that America’s dependency on foreign oil is dragging the economy down drastically, so why not take a look at some alternative energy sources?

This addresses the issue of rising gas prices and the need for lowering the cost of fuel.
